WELCOME TO WOODNEWTON POTTERY

Hand made Pottery and Plaques by Rob Bibby

Woodnewton Pottery

After studying sculpture at art college in the 1960's Rob returned to the pottery he had enjoyed while at school and the decision to become a potter was a flash of inspiration which he has never regretted. Since making this decision in 1970 he has made pots, set up several workshops and taught ceramics in Canada, France and the UK.

Rob now works in a converted methodist chapel in the village of Woodnewton in East Northamptonshire where he makes thrown earthenware most of which is colourfully decorated with a variety of images. Rob is a proffesional member of the Craft Potters Association and a selected member of Anglian Potters with whom he exhibits regularly.
